Silly Putty of the Soul -- Life Affirming Thought Patterns
Your belief system contains your own affirming, thought patterns. These patterns may or may not be life-affirming.
They may not be patterns that will result in a happy and full existence. If your belief system (or the conclusions you have come to are based on the thoughts you choose to ponder) is positive or life-affirming then the result will be a happy one. If on the other hand your belief system is filled with negativity, directive thought patterns, when fed to the brain will open the door to illness. This thought pattern will ultimately result in an attack of disease which causes great harm to the functions of the body. Destructive thought patterns can also cause obstacles in your path like an inability to function, to learn or to grow into maturity.
Things that spill out of your mouth most often come directly from your belief system. If a negative affirmation flows from your lips, take an active approach and change it immediately. The more often you think of something, the quicker it becomes your reality.
Saying you wish you could change is actually a negative affirmation. Saying "I am" or "I believe" is life-affirming and will result in positive changes. If you are wishing you are actually believing you do not have that thing or condition. Wishing is something that will be in the future and now your present. It is important to wish and hope, but to experience what you actually wish to have you must move from wishing to believing you have ownership. If you cannot believe it, you cannot achieve it!
